I'm glad I got myself a big cup of coffee before I sat down to recap the Walgreens ad for 7/31 through 8/6/11, cause it's a whopper -- with prices as low as 11 cents for school supplies, and 50 cents for things like Scope mouthwash or Special K cereal.  The complete list is discussed in detail below.

My favorite freebies are the Crayola washable markers and the money-maker toothbrushes -- toothbrushes are now officially on my list of things I don't pay for, along with razors, toothpaste, and mouthwash!

If you're new to shopping at Walgreens, be sure to learn all the ins and outs of shopping with Register Rewards (RR's).  If you are new to couponing, click here to review Walgreens 101 the Walgreens bounceback coupon program, before you hit the store.

  • Rio DVD -- on sale for $17.99, with a $5.99 Roseart activity kit free with purchase.  Valley Coupon Mom says Applebees has $3 off Rio coupons on the bottom of their kids' menu right now, so if you snag a copy, your final price could be as low as $14.99 for both.

    • Complete multi-purpose contact solution -- on sale for $8, with $8 back in Register Rewards.

    • Oral-B 1-2-3 Advantage toothbrushes -- these are on sale 2 for $6, with $3 back in Register Rewards.  So you could also use two copies of the $2 off coupon from the 7/03 P&G here, and still make $1 in profit after Register Rewards.
