I am excited to introduce to my readers Tropical Traditions!!  I currently had the pleasure of reviewing their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil.  Although I am not a huge coconut fan, I am definitely hooked on this product!  The quality of this product is amazing.  

First, I must tell you a little about their company.  Their founders, Brian and Marianita Jader Shilhavy were talking one day and Marianita explained to Brian there was a method older generations used to extract oil.  She explained their process involved grating fresh coconut, extracting the milk and then letting that milk stand for over a 24 hour period, in a container.  After that time, she explained to him the oil would separate naturally.  This produces clear oil with the scent and taste of coconuts.  At that time they began making their own coconut oil in the same manner.  I invite you to click here to read more about Tropical Traditions and their founders.  They definitely have a story to tell!

I decided to make a recipe for chicken lettuce wraps.  You can click here to view this tasty recipe.  The only thing I added to this recipe was some BBQ sauce and some red and yellow peppers.  I was amazed at the taste!  It has such a subtle and pure taste.  It is so hard to describe, but it is simply wonderful!  I loved it and I am sure you will too.

A few interesting facts about the Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil:

• There are many ways to use coconut oil and incorporate it into your diet. It is a stable cooking oil, therefore you can replace unhealthy oils with coconut oil.  Since it is a solid most of the time at room temperature or when refrigerated, it can be a butter or margarine substitute for spreads or for baking. Deb's Review of The Original Country Bob's Cookbook:  What an amazing cookbook!  This is a 96 page, hard-covered cookbook.  The book is a 8 ¾" x 8 ¾", has recipes featuring The World's Greatest Sauce, features the history of Country Bob, Inc. and has inspiring scriptures for living an abundant life.  The recipes include, but are not limited to, appetizers, soups, snacks, grilled foods, main dishes, desserts and much more!  I personally had the delight of making a few of these recipes over the past 2 weeks!  I made the Country Bob's Shrimp Salad Deluxe, which was marvelous!  I also tried the Country Bob's Onion Soup, which was great the other day when we had a little snowfall here in Indiana!  I also made the Country Bob's Meatloaf, which has now become a family favorite!  Lastly, I made the Country Bob's Bacon and Cheese Mashed Potatoes...my favorite!!  ALL OF THE RECIPES FEATURE THE AWESOME Country Bob's Sauce.  With over 89 recipes in this awesome cookbook, I have about 85 more to go!  I plan to pick up a few of these for Christmas presents, along with some of the Country Bob's sauce.  I know my family and friends will love this, and you will too!

DEB'S REVIEW OF THE SCORCHED SHOULDER HANDBAG:  I absolutely love this handbag.  It is simply beautiful.  It is roomy, stylish, and perfect for those special occasions!  I was in need of something a little dazzling, and this is it!  Delicate and sophisticated, this handbag is covered in hand made, hand polished, and hand sewn mother of pearl shell. The large shoulder strap and snap closure make this a functional piece that is sure to complement any outfit. 14”x9”x3.75”.  An interesting fact about Twisted Orchid is that over 50% of the merchandise that they carry is made from the highest grades of faux (or synthetic) leather.  Faux leather is a synthetic polyurethane material that reproduces the feel and durability of genuine leather. Many prefer faux leather because it is washable, requires very little maintenance, and is not derived from any animal products. And best of all, the faux leather on most of their bags is soft to the touch like real leather - so close that their customers report they can barely tell the difference!  You would not be disappointed in this bag.  I am hooked on Twisted Orchid and their awesome products!
