Do you or someone you know have to purchase school supplies????

I think there should be a bumper sticker that reads "Will work for school supplies!" They are ridiculously overpriced...UNLESS you are a Debs Dealz Savvy Shopper! Don't pay all of the overhead. This is another great week to do your shopping for school supplies, with lots of dollar deals and freebies available at various stores, including HEB, Target, and Office Max. I've compiled the best deals on school supplies for the week of 7/24 through 7/30/11 in one easy list for your convenience.

Also, pick a few extra and help an under-priviliged child or even donate to your child's school. With all of the school cut-backs, teachers would LOVE a donation (and you are spending cents on a lot of this!)

Remember, most of these stores won't necessarily have tons of stock on hand of the free, penny, and quarter items -- so you will need to get out there early if you want to snag those deals!

CVS

PaperMate pens -- 10-pack on sale for $1.99, with $1.99 back in Extra Bucks.
Kleenex -- on sale for 88 cents per box (limit 5 per transaction.) Buy three boxes and use the 50 cents off 3 coupon from the 7/17 Smartsource insert. Your final price drops to 72 cents per pack.
