PRODUCT AND COMPANY OVERVIEW:  Their founders, Brian and Marianita Jader Shilhavy were talking one day and Marianita explained to Brian there was a method older generations used to extract oil.  She explained their process involved grating fresh coconut, extracting the milk and then letting that milk stand for over a 24 hour period, in a container.  After that time, she explained to him the oil would separate naturally.  This produces clear oil with the scent and taste of coconuts.  At that time they began making their own coconut oil in the same manner.  I invite you to click here to read more about Tropical Traditions and their founders.  They definitely have a story to tell!

Deb's Review of the Tropical Traditions Laundry Detergent:  My family has been using the Tropical Traditions Powdered Laundry Detergent for about 2 weeks now.  We actually never purchase powdered detergent, so this was an awesome opportunity for us to try out a high-quality one.  This was such a great laundry detergent.  You would never know it is a powder.  So, if you are stuck in a rut of using only liquid, I challenge you to try this one!  The powder detergent dissolved wonderfully and left absolutely no residue on our clothing.  Do you or someone in your household have sensitive skin?  This may be the answer to your problems.  Tropical Traditions Powder Laundry Detergent contains no perfumes or dyes.  I was amazed at the amount I had to use.  We have a large-sized washer.  For a large-sized washer you are to use 1/2 cup (4 oz).  Yes, that is it!!!  This
